Hlakanang Primary School excels in music and with seasoned conductor D M Phasha, the school has won the Magakala Cluster certificate and trophy in 2017 and 2019.
About our school
Hlakanang Primary school was founded in 2004 and as its name explains, the school signifies togetherness among communities from three villages, Makobakobe, Maotji and Monametse.
These communities chose the name Hlakanang after Anglo Platinum relocated them from their original locations to expand its mining operations and built Hlakanang primary school for them at Magobading.
